Nine teams of four students from Kenakena School competed in the 2008 PCT challenge at Te Atiawa Courts yesterday. Although our results weren’t quite as good as last year, when we had a team qualify for the national competition, we performed very well in a close competition where one or two seconds separated many of the teams. We haven’t received the full results yet, but know that one of our Boy’s teams came 3rd overall.

I went to watch the event for a while and was really impressed with the attitude, conduct, team spirit and support shown by our kids, as well as their willingness to ‘give their all’ in a competitive event.
