FAMILY CONTRIBUTION

Thank you to those families who have paid your Family Contribution.

Board of Trustees have set the Family Contribution payment at the same level as last year :
$60 per child (or $15 per term)
or
$120 per family ($30 per term).

The 2001 Education Review Office's "Accountability Review of Kenakena School" stated that :
"Financial management is prudent, Policies give clear guidance and financial resources are allocated to meet short and long term school priorities. Effective internal controls are practised. The Board receives monthly reports that give an accurate position of school finances."

Please consider paying the Family Contribution as soon as possible if you have not already done so, as it is vital to the successful financial operation of the school. Your Family Contribution would be well utilised during the remainder of the year to meet the school's resourcing needs for your children.

To pay the Family Contribution, money or cheques should be put in an envelope with your child's name, room number and what the money is for, clearly written on the front. Please put this envelope in the blue letter box on the wall of the Administration Foyer (by the Medical Room). Receipts will be sent home with your child.

SCHOOL LUNCHES:

(Monday to Thursday).

Your child's name, room number and their order should be written on the front of an envelope, correct money (or as near as possible please) placed inside, sealed and put in the lunch box provided in the school administration foyer before 9:00 am. Lunch options are published in the current newsletter.
