Year 7&8 students were recently given the opportunity to have a go at sailing through a partnership with Yachting New Zealand and their ‘Have a Go’ programme. Forty seven of our students enjoyed sailing on Waikanae Estuary and Pauatahanui Inlet learning new skills and gaining confidence on the water. Organising teacher Sue Gray was impressed enough with Yachting NZ’s programme and organisation to make an advanced booking for 2011.
