Jayne Lloyd from Graham Braddock Art Workshops worked at Kenakena on Tuesday and Wednesday this week taking ‘How to Draw Really Well’ workshops for all the children at our school, targeting her workshops to the age levels of the children. She showed easy-to-use techniques for observational drawing, working on proportions, shading techniques and how to reproduce detail. I was impressed with her work and many teachers mentioned that it was good professional development for them because of the teaching points used by Jayne in her work with your children.

Funding for the workshops came from the annual donation to the school by the Kenakena School Parent Network.
